Philadelphia Cervical Collar - Superior Neck Immobilization for Spinal Conditions
product detail
Product Introduction
The Philadelphia Cervical Collar is a medical cervical collar designed for cervical spine injury rehabilitation, postoperative fixation and chronic cervical spine disease. The product uses lightweight polymer materials combined with breathable sponge lining, which is comfortable to wear without feeling heavy and suitable for long-term use. It provides three standard sizes of S/M/L to adapt to different neck circumferences. The skin color design is close to the human skin color, taking into account both beauty and practicality. Its arc-shaped support structure can effectively limit the flexion, extension and lateral flexion of the cervical spine, stabilize the physiological curvature of the cervical spine, and reduce the pressure on the intervertebral disc. It is suitable for postoperative fixation of cervical fractures, conservative treatment of cervical disc herniation, and rehabilitation of cervical soft tissue injuries.
How to use
Size selection: Measure the circumference of the thickest part of the neck and refer to the size chart to select the corresponding model (S/M/L).
Wearing steps:
Remove the front and back pieces of the neck support, fit the back piece to the back of the neck, align the top to the bottom of the occipital bone, and the bottom to the top of the clavicle;
The front piece covers the front of the neck, aligns with the Adam's apple, and adjusts the upper and lower edges to a comfortable height;
Buckle the Velcro on both sides to insert 2 fingers of tightness, avoid too tight to affect breathing or too loose to lose the fixation effect.
Cleaning and maintenance: Wash the removable lining by hand with a neutral detergent and dry naturally; wipe the outer panel with a damp cloth, and do not soak or sterilize at high temperature.
Precautions
Medical guidance: Before use, the doctor needs to assess the degree of cervical spine injury and adjust the wearing time according to the doctor's advice (it is recommended to wear no more than 4 hours at a time and no more than 8 hours per day in total).
Wearing experience: If the neck skin is red, swollen, numb or breathing is not smooth, remove it immediately and consult a doctor.
Applicable taboos: It is forbidden for patients with severe unstable cervical fractures and laryngeal edema; pregnant women and children need to use special models.
Storage method: Avoid folding or heavy pressure, store in a cool and dry place, away from heat sources and chemicals.
Usage cycle: The recommended usage cycle of the product is 3-6 months. For long-term use, the Velcro adhesion and structural integrity need to be checked regularly.
With lightweight design, precise support and humanized details, the Philadelphia cervical collar provides safe and comfortable professional protection for cervical spine health, helping patients recover efficiently.
